Faster guitar parts with a melodic touch, are alternated with atmospheric keyboard parts. The synths play a rather important role in the band, as it is shown by the very up-front place of the keys in the mix.
The sound quality of this CDemo is excellent. The band members made the right choice in providing 4 tracks of excellent quality material rather than spending money on more tracks in a cheaper production. The vocals are exclusively female. The girl has a nice sounding voice and tries to put as much emotion as possible in her singing.
After having seen Sengir playing live several times, it is clear to me that they don't have any problems with bringing their songs on stage too. The vocalist and bass player even have a very distinct stage presence. We can only hope somebody offers this band a record deal soon, and then wait for a full cd to come.
