It feels good to start my review career at doom-metal.com by reviewing a Greek band. I was pleasantly surprised when I first heard their CD in a bar and then saw them live a couple of days later. So I purchased a CD from them and listened carefully.

At first I thought, "Hey! We do have doom in Greece after all!" Clean vocals, yes. Oh well, what the heck! But there's atmosphere and sorrow and wow! Let's retrace our steps for a moment. did I say doom? Ok, I meant doom-ish, with elements of gothic, atmospheric and even electro on one track.

After talking to the singer, I found out that they started about a year and a half ago with an attempt at something different within the dark atmospheric music scene, which I think has been pretty successful so far. They played with some other local Greek bands (Magic de spell, Endeleheia, Nexus, Ophelia's Garden) and one of their tracks is on a compilation Cd from 'Wipe Out'.

This demo has 5 tracks that cover more than one aspect of dark music. One can hear doom, gothic, atmospheric, and even darkwave. As I mentioned earlier, all vocals are clean, there are guitars, drums and keyboards with an extra addition of special effects (rain, voices).

I like this band, and they come highly recommended. So I guess I'm making a good start by saying I was very pleased to hear this cd and am looking forward to hearing more of them soon. If you want to contact any of the band members just e-mail them at pastperfectmusic@hotmail.com.
