Evictus' first demo introduces us to a couple of doomy tracks from Brazil. While the music itself probably would be categorized as something within the Death/Doom genre, the vocal performance of Evictus' Fernanda sounds as if it were taken from a Norwegian band from Stavanger. With that being said, the influences of this band should be quite obvious. There are a few grunts on some songs but the female vocals do the main job. That is not a bad thing, since it sounds really good. 'My Uncolored Flower', the first (real) track of this demo, could have been written by any band within the same genre. It's not bad at all, quite good actually. Unfortunately, without being the least bit original, there will probably always be better bands out there. Fortunately, Evictus manages to create an identity of its own on the remaining three tracks. You have to wait until the last two songs for the highlights of the demo. 'Morbid Desire' and 'The Darkest Mirror' are fantastic tracks that could be described simply as "My Dying Bride with female vocals". Sound quality is not an issue here. To judge from the booklet and the printed CD they have put in time, money, and their hearts into this demo.	1. Intro 2. My Uncolored Flower 3. For Ever Tear 4. Morbid Desire 5.
