This CD is compiled out of the two EP's that Doomsday created in 2004: 'Koporsó' (which is Hungarian for "coffin") and Orion. The first EP has it's lyrics in Hungarian, but when translated they prove to be just as negative and depressive as is fit for a melancholic doom metal band. The first track on the first EP has a very interresting name. 'Introitus' is a medical term which basically stands for the entrance of a tube. Mostly in connection with the vulva. The name itself seems a bit awkward compared to the soft music on the track and the rest of the EP. Still sex and small perversities isn't new to the melodic doom/death genre, so despite that I would normally connect such a title with a grindcore band, perhaps it's not so odd after all. When mentioning track names I should probably translate the other tracks on the 'Koporsó' EP. Having already translated the title track when I translated the name of the EP, I won't bother to do so again. The third track, 'Beteg Vér', means "sick blood". The outro, 'Kathalepsya', is "catalepsy" in English, which in turn is a scientific term for a trance-like detachment from the world. And then, what you have been waiting for. A description of what the band sounds like. It is a melodic doom/death band which would certainly be interesting to a lot of fans of The Peaceville Three. However they have chosen a path which clearly puts them in a direction of their own. One of the most striking features of the music is the fact that they have managed to get spacey sections into it along with the melancholy and beautiful guitar work. Another thing which is uncommon in this genre is the lack of grunts. Instead they rely solely on a type of weeping clean male vocals which remind me a little of folk music. The music is very similar on both EPs so they might as well have been an album, if they didn't both have intros and outros that is. It is also those that make the release so short despite the amount of tracks as only one of them lasts significantly longer than a minute. The main tracks can run for up to more than 12 minutes, which is the case of 'Koporsó'. Definitely well worth to look into for fans of this genre.	Koporsó: 1. Introitus (Instrumental) 2. Koporsó 3.
