Bosque : Dead Nature

Bosque is a one man project by the Portuguese D. and this is his first demo. Three ten-minute songs showcase a raw form of funeral and death doom, with spoken and clean vocals.

The main thing that is remarkable are the melodic riffs and occasional lead melodies, which give the demo a relatively light sound. Paired with the interesting reverbing vocals, this makes the demo primitive - and eerie sounding. Sadly enough, the production is not very good, which greatly obscures the actual Bosque sound.

This demo sounds a bit like Thergothon and Stabat Mater, and harbours a lot of potential, but Bosque needs better production to be able to truly prove its worth.
