Iron Hearse : Iron Hearse

Heavy, slow and as English as Manchester United, here comes the Iron Hearse gang. Behind what could be mistaken for a Voivod tribute band, you’ll find in fact a trio of guys whose clock has stopped back in 1976. Iron Hearse play it slow and groovy, with the dose of 70’s fuzzy Rock n’Roll every Traditional Doom is expected to have.

Lyrically, there goes your Hammer Films and Amicus tributes!! How cool can you get when you do a song based on the classic Terence Fisher movie The Gorgon or the underrated jewel that is The Plague Of The Zombies? You’ll get THAT cool, cooler that the Fonz on his coolest day.

Sure, Iron Hearse brings nothing new to the genre, but their talent and pride shows in what they do. Sometimes, the best things are the simplest ones, and that’s what Iron Hearse is all about. Fuzz, psychedelia, Gothic Horror and a damn groove guarantee to make Lazarus coming out of his tomb again to rock a bye with your sister.

Those of you into Iron Man, Orange Goblin or The Lamp Of Thoth are advised to get this piece of music as quickly as possible. And God being a Rocker, you’ll get for the same price a bunch of live tracks that shows that the hearse isn’t something to toy with on stage.
