Central stumps are about as doom as it gets!

I think we should all do a online vber doom project called Central stump.

Why not? I can mix tracks like a whiz on Garageband. And I can do some pretty grim vocals. I can do the gargy thing on Genevieve by "Velvet Cacoon", but much more fj00neral than VC.

So I think we should decide on a BPM and a key. Personally, I'd reckon about 50? If you play sax, then we can do it in Bflat for all I care. I can use pitchshifting to mongolate your loops. Especially considering pitchshifters are doom ttm.

4/4 time would be preferable, but if a bunch of people have something figured out already thats in a specific time, then I can work with that. Maybe even have it changed throughout the song.

Then you can rapidshare/megaupload your loops and such and I can mix them together. Once it's done, I'll meticulously record who does what. The various parts of this work will be copyrighted to it's repsective participants. We wouldn't want people stealing riffs, now would we.

I don't play any "metal" instrument, so I'll stick to "vocals/programming".

Necessities:
Vocals
Drums
Guitar
Bass

Optional (and appreciated):
Keyboard
Ambient thingies
Classical instrumentation (Absolutely anything; variety is.)
Folk instrumentation ( ^ )
any programming little things you have.

Absolutely anything can be submitted, I'm sure I'll find a way to mix it all together in a harmonious way.

I change chop stuff up to make it into loops, so don't worry if there's little bits of silence before and after your thing. As log as the tempo is right, I can do it.

If I had a way to record a half-decent quality tone, I could drop some clean vocals or some bass...

Lol doesn't look like anyone's committed. I haven't got a way to justify the recording of clean vocals anyway. Shame.

Well it was worth a shot, no?

If the opportunity arose, would you be interested in playing bass in an online black metal? My black metal vocals are better than my doom ones. And we have a guitarist with ridiculous amounts of experience who can play black metal.
