I've never been a fan of this band and never understood the alleged uber-heaviness in their sound.

The vocals are so off-putting they'd ruin everything even if the rest was anything more than bouncy, happy riffs.

Grief Sequence is ok-ish due to lack of vocals, but I couldn't find much grief in it - especially in the middle part where there is an almost nintendo-like distorted sequence, that's admittedly fun. But I do not like fun doom=)

I used to like Conan a lot, but always found them a fairly easy listen as far as Sludge goes. I’m curious to see what they’re doing on this.
