Post Best (Alcohol-based) Music

For me, there is no greater thing to listen to whilst under the influence than Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, by the time it gets to Sabbara Cadabra I'm pretty much fully lost to that damn record.

Anyone else have any particular affections as such? I'd imagine this is where the Manowar legions stand proud - I've got such an image of thousands of Metalheads swinging their ales to "Brothers of Metal (Pt 2)" haha. Major tune.

I more or less picture thousands of dudes touching each other when I think of Manowar...

This thread reminds me of another one that was created a while ago. Something along the lines of the best party music. This one dude really got his panties in a twist when I made fun of his choice.

Back on Topic though... I dunno, I can drink to anything or nothing. So long as the beer is cold man!

:sniper: Manowar is great music and even better if you want to get drunk.

Yes. Few things are better than getting drunk with, "the boys" and donning your loin cloths then playing a game of grab ass.

Since 90% of all folk metal is written and composed while intoxicated that should automatically make it the best drinking music ever, no? :p

I'm thinking bands like Finntroll, Korpiklaani, Trollfest, etc. :thumbs-up:

Green On Red, Velvet Underground(first 2 albums), The Dream Syndicate, Tom Waits, jazz, blues, dub... I don't usually listen to metal when drinking, I'm a mellow drunk.

Also, QUEEN FOR THE WIN. Oh yes.
