This is great! I like the debut a lot, did not know they released something new!

Otherwise, recently in the short moments when I can listen to doom I tend to go with stuff that gives me an immediate fix even in small doses - Funeralium, Deinonychus, Cultus Sanguine, Mourning Dawn, Forgotten Tomb's wonderful debut...

Prophecy mail with upcoming releases this time contained something quite interesting - Voices From A Fathomless Realm. So far only two songs are out, but it gives me quite strong Dance of December Souls-vibes. The first track more than the other, but I'll be definitely waiting for the whole album:

I remember I liked Invisible White quite a lot, but have not investigated further, this is very nice=)

I probably stumbled into Ursa's album here, it's not a style I like and it's indeed really awful, but the first half of the first track with it's intense story-telling is quite captivating, worth a listen.

You're cruel! :D

This new release of their is two notches above their previous works. A band I enjoy a lot.. But you have to be into this specific Stoner sound, that's probably true.

Crowbar - I listened to "The Lasting Dose", got pretty amazed and decided to check their presumably most doomy albums - Broken Glass/Odd Fellows Rest/Sonic Excess In Its Purest Form
Broken Glass is awful and not doomy at all
Sonic Excess is really amazing when slow
Odd Fellows Rest is ok when slow, but still does not excite me.

Following unwashed_villager in bandcamp sometimes reveals quite the unique releases, like Old Believers's self-titled album - a nice dronish album made of amplified trumpet and cello, plus drums.

The guy behind the pretty nice drone project Teeth Engraved With the Names of the Dead released a short demo song - mixture between slowcore and drone, very pleasant and tranquil. One of the best things I've heard lately - similar to amazing acts like Methadrone, Nadja and The Angelic Process. I was just getting excited, when he announced that he stops all music projects he has, pity really.

New Crippled Black Phoenix is finally out... Banefyre (look for it on bandcamp)... it's ok, but not great. It's also 1 hour and 37 minutes long.
