I'll post a clever comment on the music as soon as I listen to the album; but right now, I wanted to share my feeling that the digital versions sold over bandcamp tend to be more and more expensive. This one even reaching the same price as the physical cd, what I had never seen before! I guess this reflects the success of digital over physical; But this economical reason (to bring the consumer to rather buy the cd whose making has cost money) has no common sense - an mp3 file should always be the cheapest option, no?

I agree... if it's too expensive, then vote with your feet/pocket and don't buy it. I guess every "artist" put a certain price on their "art" and they are entitled to do that...

BTW, I fell asleep after 15 minutes...

The vocals and the dry straightforward structure of this album somehow remind me of Fall Of Empyrean, a band I used to like a lot in the past but since then this type of extremely accessible and standard death/doom, driven mainly by power chords, has become one of the genres I grew fed up with the most over the years.

The sound and the production are very well done (but definitely not "filthy" apart from the rather rough vocals) and in the rare moments where the music slows down or a lead melody appears it becomes really great and gripping, but the neverending mid tempo blandness is simply boring=)


p.s. and actually can we agree that "Fragilium" is an extremely cheesy name for such a band=)

Couldn't agree more! I also don't find the production that good. It's alright for this sort of dirty, lo-fi Death Doom, but it has too much of a markedly underground rehearal-room aesthetic to it for my taste.
