Brand new Mayhem - "Daemon".
Sounds pretty good!

Listening to the new Profetus, unfortunately it does not grow on me... still bland and suitable only for background music...

I don't mind it... as you say, great background music... :p

A fascinating proggy dark patchwork, surprisingly fluid and inventive all along. Very worth a few throughout listens.
Enslaved recent period comes to mind, Borknagar and such other experimental mid-tempo ventures, but more tormented and doomier - the guitar play on Vocat strongly remind of Mournful Congregation's!

Always nice, this band's productions.

I was listening to it today... still in the same vein (with more harsh vocals), and the songwriting is very sleek...

A bit doomier this time around, esp. the 2nd track "Antimony".

They have robes and there's a skull in there. It's a start, right?

I like it a lot also, it is much better than the previous full length and closer to the amazing I & II, although the unique vibe from that release is not really there...

This is cool, but rather amateurish too. The funny side of it doesn't redeem the overall clumsiness.
That being said, I love to hear some good reggae severly dubbed when it's done by good artists. Recently, I listened quite regularly to this compilation:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHMiklMA-ag

Listend today again to this: https://sandbreaker.bandcamp.com/album/sandbreaker-ep

a fine, fine album! Looking forward to whatever these guys will eventually come up with.

Interesting atmo one-man FD band from Russian, good production, minimalist, mysterious; fans of Of Darkness, Funeral Moth should love this.

Amazing how this new Monolithe never looses steam and increases even it's level of awesomeness as it unfolds its strange but fluid songwriting.

It's tongue in cheek and dumb. Their other tracks are even worse.

I like reggae as well. Dub not so much. Good vocals are what reggae is all about. Dub often removes vocals.

Some old school reggae has a sad mood to it. If only there was a proper DOOM REGGAE band...
