Been relistening to the couple of tracks on their BC page; if anything, it reminds a lot of Stone wings, to the point this could be Stone Wing's second album. better than what I though at start.

From what Stu has told me, Illimitable Dolor and The Slow Death are pretty much a continuation of Stone Wings. In fact, I think I remember him mentioning some old Stone Wings/Elysium songs ended up being reworked into songs for ID and TSD.

The way I see it; TSD is more like Funeral whereas ID is more like Skepticism. Two different sides of the same coin; either way it's super atmospheric sounding borderline funeral doom/death doom stuff. :D
