Good to hear. Makes sense, too: looks like the AKG/Beyerdynamics combined are in the same sort of price range as the HD600s, and if that gives you more versatility, it's a good deal.

Having (for various reasons) changed the layout of my study, it would actually be convenient to run wired rather than wireless. So, at some point - when I have the time and energy to go through the whole selection process - I probably will buy a decent wired pair and see how they stack up. I'm not sceptical about wireless, but it's entirely possible that's as much about becoming accustomed to - and developing compensations for - it as it is any guarantee of absolute sound quality!
This is why I only have two.
Actually, I made my first attempt at sewing one week ago. But as for ironing, I have to say I never really saw the point. Funnily enough, I do own an ironing board - it was a gift back when I first moved out of my parents' house, and it's been standing around ever since, currently in my bathroom, and still in shrinkwrap.
