PowerPuff Girls

Not quite what I was going for but hilarious all the same.

I love the Powerpuff girls!

I didn't care for it when it originally aired but my wife got the box set for xmas and has been watching it. They're pretty amusing.

The Witch:
A different take on the classic witchcraft story. A good film, but my expectations haven't been rewarded as much as the huge reputation the film has gathered could let it hope. It lacks the essential "horrific" perspective. It's a beautiful film, but it is not scary. Perhaps that is not its goal, but yet again, its reputation let foresee the opposite. To me it's foremost a psychological drama that has been wrongly promoted.

the Boy:
The fundamental idea is interesting and the direction very neat; unfortunately, the ending brutally ruins the strange alienated atmosphere the director took the time to weave. Suddenly, the pace speeds up and the film gets himself another face altogether, as if the producers were more concerned by the urgency to save every piece of hackneyed clichés in order to reassure the dumbest audience surely put off by the slowness and sobriety of the the first part; at the end, the only good one.

Graveyard Shift. A giant rat bat thing kills people that are cleaning the basement of A mill. I like it more than I should.

I recently resumed watching Ill Will Press. It's still good despite the odd animation.

Just started watching Incorporated, finished all aired episodes of Lucifer and The Big Bang Theory. I know it's a strange mix.

Very strange.

I watch Big Bang Theory when my wife has it on. Sometimes I think it's really funny. Sometimes I think it's shite.

I didn't care for it when it fist aired. However, as the seasons progressed I really began to like it. I stopped watching it a couple of years ago because the show and characters had stopped progressing. I don't remember what season it was, but I remember the comic book shop burning down and Sheldon leaving on a train somewhere. That was the only good episode of the run. I've seen pieces of later episodes and some of them are great, but I just can't bring myself to resume watching it.

The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy

Split of M. Night Shyamalan.

This guy is coming back with a vengeance! This is a very good, clever movie about inhibitions, repressed feelings and abilities, about the complexity of humankind. And he sure knows how to film! The Visit was already a good, although more simple flick, but this one is of the level of his first successes.
