I drink mostly Strzelec Porter, Kaper (a nice strong lager) and occasionally for something lighter a koźlak (Bock) or one of the better Polish lagers such as Okocim Zagłoba or the unpasteurized Amber Piwo Żywe. On Sundays I sometimes drink imports for variety, usually something English but sometimes a German Doppelbock or Urbock, a Belgian ale or a Ukrainian white beer.

I still have one last bottle of homebrew I made back when I was living in Texas, it's a British-style barleywine over 11% ABV. 0,95 liter bottle, too. Saving it for a very special occasion. There are a few smaller bottles still in Texas but I don't know if they ever make it here.

Ah, we have no good beer here, so I go to Finland to really ENJOY it.

Can't you get some good Russian porters?

Took a trip to Beer Circus in Croydon a couple of nights ago, never been there before, but i'll definitely be returning. An amazing selection of beers, mainly Belgium beers, but a few others too (French, German). Between 250 and 300 different beers, the largest selection of beers in London.

I had Waase Wolfe, Adelardus and Hercule. I'm a big fan of the dark beers- stout, Abbey styles etc. Any suggestions for decent beers around those styles- heavy, complex, dark as coal beers? :)

Not fooling you at all :) I had a brief taste of it, and it was pretty good- i've had a couple of other people recommend it, so i think i'll have to grab a bottle next time.

Guinness is really great stuff but it is a heavy drink. I prefer a lighter style when it is hot out. Your right when you say that the best beers are the ones made in small pubs and aren't made for import but there are a lot of imports out there. What is your favorite?

Tequilla my god I've had some of the best times of my life I'll never remember.... My only issue with Tequilla is that if I have to be on duty the next day it doesn't usually leave me feeling the best. Thats why I prefer beers and ales over anything else

Today I tried a new beer, that we have at the pub where I work, for the next couple of weeks. It is called "Black Adder". It's stout beer, really strong for cask stout (5.2%), and it's quite sweet. I really like it.
You can also find it bottled:
