Post Re: Metal is great!

Music is common to all people, but the poorest, by necessity, favour acoustic music and easy-to-carry instruments, because you never know where you'll be the next day. Violin, maracas, harmonica, mouth harp, also known as Jew's harp, and that means a lot...

Then, I'd say Metal is more of an individualistic occupation whereas less whealthy communities tend to stick together and use music as a social cement, a convivial mean to get the community together. Metal is more often that not a solipsistic, antisocial manifesto.

:Then most Metal songs call for high technicity, technical skills, digital gears, then you need a soundproofed studio, a place where you can store your drumkit, your amps and your speakers...

Definitely a rich people business.
