I don't remember The Sullen Sulcus much so I will listen to it today and decide, but it will probably be Dust...

It's 'The Sullen Sulcus' for me. A genuinely good album. The two others are really good as well.

The Sullen Sulcus. It's a classic doom/death album, one of the most played records ever in my collection.

"The Sullen Sulcus" here as well. I agree with Nihil, a classic in its genre and one of the most convincing and touching releases I've heard in the field of Death Doom. "Dust" is very good as well, but not as mature in some places. I never really got into "A Murderous Circus" - it's decent, but I don't find it too emotional anymore and too simple for my taste in places...

Vote Nr 5 for The Sullen Sulcus.
There are some riffs on this album, which i never get tired of... for example the ending of The Words that Crawled and Angers Steaming Arrows. And this whole middle section of My Sullen Sulcus is simply beautiful.
The Words that Crawled also has some of the best lyrics of the genre. (I dislike the artwork though.)

The Sullen Sulcus. Of all the death doom I've heard in my entire life I've never heard anything that I like that much; the music, the lyrics are outstanding.

I'm more into music then the lyrics, and I say whole album is outstanding! Insolent Caul is my fav! Thet album is the essence of doom-death metal I love!

Definitely Sullen, but Dust is a close second, and the New one is really growing on me.

Dust is still my favorite, a classic album. Sullen Sulcus is good though it's not the most exciting album all the time. I have to be in the mood for it. A Murderous Circus was a good idea but the vocals on that album are not very good and too loud. The guitar parts are not only so-so on that alubm

The Sullen Sulcus for me. But that's entirely due to the very fond memories I have of the entire pre-listening, interview and tour linked to this album in 2002/2003. Those were some of the finest days of my life...

Put me down for Dust, although not much ahead of Sullen Sulcus. Only came to know this awesome
band fairly recently, but absolutely love the perfect mix of death and heavy doom.
