I've been quite disappointed by this one; they seem to have lost what made them quite peculiar and exciting.

Well, it's obvious you have a shitty taste in music :-)
Anyway, this album is sort of a grower; first listen was like what the fuck is this shit with an annoying singer who doesn't know how to sing, ruining good music. But later it became clear to me this is actually a very strong release with a lot of stuff in it to explore and ultimately enjoy...

I thought exactly the same thing initially with the vocals in Procession (- the same singer), but they grew massively on me over time.

Ha, in your email to me you mentioned the band Possession, and I'm like: what the hell is he talking about, Possession? Anyways, check this album out, M. if you love epic metal; chances are you'd immensely enjoy it, like I did.

Possession? I'd love to blame my auto-correct, but I think it was probably just me being crap :D

I have a copy on the way now - thanks for the recommendation!

true that I only listened to it once. The debut Ep was way catchier; still, it stands the test of time.

I've listened to two tracks on YouTube and, although the music is not my cup of tea, I don't mind the voice at all...

I've finally bought the album and totally reviewed my opinion: it's very good!
