Really not suprised nobody's talking about this. Although it's not the worst album ever released they've failed to step up a notch. Just another Pallbearer release. Shame.

I think Pallbearer will end up being one of those bands that play well and have their own niche in the style, but will continue to play exactly that without adding anything new or fresh to make the albums distinguishable from one another.

Pallbearer are great, I like them. That being said, I grow bored with their material pretty quickly for this very reason alone.

I still didn't take the time to listen to it. But I don't feel any urge either.

There're many other bands that give me more excitement; The Wounded Kings' latest for instance is an album I enjoy more and more. What Pallbearer are lacking is a strong personality, it's too placid. TWK, for this very reason, have done well to work with Birch again, a good vocalist is often what gives a band the spice it needs.

They're a good band...Heartless kinda floats on by but then ends with A Plea For Understanding which is awesome.
