Apparently you've put a lot of effort into gaining access to the Poema Arcanvs sound cosmos, and given this album the fair chance it deserves. A very fair, objective and analytical review, as usual. Good work! Being a long-standing fan of the band, I can confirm that I really miss the excellent keyboard and piano work from "Iconoclast" and "Telluric Manifesto"; it all sounds more sterile and less organic and atmospheric, making it much harder for me to get into. That doesn't say anything about the objective quality of the music, but this new sound just cannot give me the same sensations and excitement that made the earlier albums so special. Their style remains hugely complex and original, though.

If the band stops by and read us, I urge them to drop that first track when the'll be about to re-release the album on another label (since it seems they fell out with Australis Recs). It is simply bad, unworthy of them. Really.

Their deal with Australis was a limited one and they're free to offer the album to other labels now, that's what I understood. And they're not very content with the promotion done by Australis (or rather, not done). What I don't really get is whether the album has actually been released by Australis in physical format at any point.

Yes! I've just found out about that this morning, psychedoomelic sells it.

Thanks d. - appreciate that!

I was impressed by both the pre- and post-keyboard sound, although they are, as you say, quite different. Out of curiosity, I don't know whether that was a deliberate choice of direction, or forced because it was impossible to find a suitable replacement - any idea?

Interesting question! I'll ask them in the interview. :)
