This sounds quite tempting.

Just like to add that I like salt and vinegar crisps, and I don't mind drum machines as long as they're not too boring.

Same here... But you never know.

Of course real drums are always the better choice, but sometimes there's no suitable drummer to be found, so the music really stands and falls with the quality of the drum programming (and the sounds used etc.)... If it's well done, then it at least deserves some respect in its own right, for I can tell you: It's a real pain in the arse to program interesting drum lines!

My copy arrived today - listening to it now.

It's not bad: something of a mixed bag. A bit formulaic "bedroom solo project" in places, but interestingly theatrical in others. He's made an effort to put some variety into the drumming - it works well enough, just clearly isn't the main focus of the music. Good use of guitar and a whole raft of different voices, as noted in the review. Somewhere between the early vibes of The Gathering and Lacrimas Profundere, imo.

I really don't get people who like eating them, as the only similar taste to this is vomit flavored with bile.
