It's a lovely recap of the collection, a great read, albeit jealousy inducing=)))

It's interesting seeing the debut demo among your album highlights, I've never given it much attention, but I'll correct this mistake=)

Thanks :) GSP have still got copies left, according to Bandcamp...!

Yeah, I think the debut has a slightly different feel - the most purist/primitive Funeral Doom of all of them: it's just one guy with a couple of guitars and a drumbox. I'm pretty sure there aren't any keys on it all, and the few sections where there is a melodic line in the background are done with guitar FX. Could be wrong on that, of course, but there's nothing like the 'proper' keys which first appear 'Beneath Funeral Flowers', or the increasingly dark ambient vibe that crept into the compositions from there on. Not that I have anything in the slightest against those, but they're so well-represented throughout the discography that they're pretty much core to all the other releases.

Be interested to hear if you agree, if you do revisit it.

Frankly, I don't see me owning this special box.
And funny thing is that I do not consider his albums too be always the same reharshed stuff.
As a matter of fact, the only album I have deemed worth purchasing is Weeping Silence of the Dead; I do like it much better than other releases I listened to as carefully.
For instanceWhite Roses, White Coffin isn't as exciting imo, neither is Cryptic... I'm hoping to find an other album that brings me as much as WSOTD...

I hope to get a copy soon, but it's over $200 US with shipping. Ugh....
