I agree with the reviewer, this is rather enthralling and whimsical indeed! One could say it stays true to South-american taste for anti-sobriety...
That being said, the "Doom" label is hardly sticking, it's plain Dark Metal to me. Honestly, good stuff though.

I don't know... didn't click with me. It's almost there, but there is something very annoying about it and I can't put my finger on it... it just sounds really "dated", musically...

I agree this is more dark metal than doom. Weirdly metal-archives have listed the band as Melodic Doom/Death Metal.

I was expecting something in the lines of Darkflight, but it's more like Raventale. Pity=)
