What's this 'choose either' nonsense? Although I don't actually remember paying for any of these so I guess I shouldn't comment on peoples choices

I believe that, despite the recent uptake of vinyl (hitting the one million sales mark in the UK for the first time in 30-odd years, iirc, last year) there are still way more people with CD players than proper turntables these days. It's sorta aimed more at that average customer than at people who get a copy of every different version free from the label, and who may prefer to just cough up £13 for the nice digibook CD they can play immediately, rather than £22 plus the cost of a decent record deck for the somewhat-sexier LP version...
