Great interview! And a lovely band, I really like their steady progression, though not everything is good imo (like the awful self-titled EP, no wonder the band does not talk about it and skips from Deathscape EP to the latest lp=).

They are amazing live band also!

Haha, well, actually I forgot all about that EP. It wasn't on our bandlisting, and I don't have a copy of it - I don't even remember seeing a digital promo or press release at the time - so I simply didn't think to ask about it, and obviously none of the band felt that strongly about correcting me...!

Bit of an oddity in their discography, anyway, as everything else got a decent CD run, mostly with mainstream label backing, whereas that was a super-limited 12" only. But if you've got one, they're apparently worth €35 on Discogs :p

I'll see if I can get a bit of detail on it anyway, since it is a bit of an omission in their history...!

I wouldn't be surprised if the label that released the EP is actually the band's own label, as the name "Oceanwoe Productions" sounds very much related with the -woe suffix that they like to put on their member's aliases, etc. Plus this is the only release they've done. I'd be curious to know if this is true=)

edit: I just re-listened the EP on their bandcamp, it's not that awful, but it's definitely the lowest point in their discography=)

Interview has now been updated with a question about the s/t 2016 EP, for anyone who is curious to find out how that came about!
