To be honest, I am somehow disappointed by this release. I gave it several listens while driving on long trips... but there is something sorely missing with this release. It has some moments, but to me they are capable of much more.. they are my favorite band all time after all..

Another thing, the tracks order seems different that what appear in MA and Bandcamp!

Yup, the track listing is wrong and the review is a bit weird at places=))

As for the album - I like it quite a lot, it's definitely more exciting for me then the previous EP. Particularly the guitars are amazing. At times I even think it might be one of the best MC albums=))

Perks of getting a download from the band rather than a copy, I suppose :)

I can't say MC are my favourite band, but I completely agree that they have produced far more exciting music in the past...

Yep, sometimes we get things in very strange pre-release formats and with - let's say - "varying" degrees of accuracy when compared to the actual release. I do understand that bands, and even labels, can't necessarily afford to send physical freebies out to every 'zine on the internet - that's fair enough, and we do accept electronic press kits because of that. But I do find it baffling when even professional PR units send out some of the half-finished crap we get in our inbox: rubbish low-bitrate rips, incorrect or no tagging, none of the actual booklet information...I mean, really, if you send reviewers a truly poor version of what you're actually planning to release to paying customers, then you can expect to receive a poor review and, er, fewer paying customers as a result...
Anyways, the track listing is now fixed.

Ok, it did grow on me, specially after reading the lyrics, though still I have no idea what they talking about, but the last song had evoked dark souls 3 feelings on me, picture, devouring gloom, snake... For a moment painted Ashes of Ariandel came to mind...
