Heard the name, never knowingly heard any of their previous work. I guess there may even be another two or three doom bands somewhere in the world that I've never listened to... :D

:p :p What I meant, it's because they verge on the Gothic doom (especially at the beginning), and I know you are partial to the genre... :)

I knew that really, I was just being cheeky :p
I'm not sure how I came to overlook them actually - we didn't cover the 2014 EP, but the last album was reviewed (favourably) after I'd joined the site, so I should've picked up on that. On the plus side, it did mean this one came as a nice surprise!

I've been spinning this a bit lately and every time I think I've put a Swallow The Sun's LP on... :) they have turned into a StS's clone... which is not bad thing since I like them... but the sonic resemblance is uncanny...
