I fell this project is on a downward spiral. I like less and less what they produce. Demo was awesome, full-length was good, this new one has 1/4 of interesting bits; the rest being bland, or even annoying.

I can't really be doing with all that 'We praise Satan' nonsense, to be honest. It rang pretty hollow back when the likes of Black Widow and Venom were doing it, and it's just beyond puerile cliche now. Though maybe that's just because I'm a Pascal's Wager kinda guy! Anyhow, 'cliche in' generally seems to equal 'cliche out', which is a shame given how magnificent Averill's voice can be under the right circumstances. Perhaps if he really wants to do Doom, he ought to get back together with Void of Silence for a follow-up to 'Human Antithesis'...and let somebody else put a way more inspired slant on the content...

That's the good idea!

Yes, cliché lyrics are a pain. I'm happy not to be mother-tongued in this matter. Most lyrics are flowing straight over my head! But when it's sung with emphasis AND by a non native, like, say, on the last Spiritus Mortis, I can't not pay attention to them and it really makes me cringe.

This world is doomed is a fine track, but then, at 4'40", they're starting a second song, the shifting is absurdlingly abrupt. There're changes of pace all along this album that make it a rather confusing listen.
