Post A good beginner guitar

Was wondering what a good choice for a beginner guitar would be. I have heard the Yamaha FG700s series is good. I was also thinking about the Baby Taylor and the Epiphone Pro Plus series. But I don't know much about guitars. Does anyone have any recommendations? I am looking for something with good action, good playability, as easy as possible on the fingers. Also, I do not want a guitar that is too big (the dreadnought size is too big for me). Plus I was considering nylon strings but not sure if I should go that route. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you.

One recommendation: Get one without tremolo.
That's it.

What, you're asking about an acoustic guitar? Blasphemy!
