Post Unusual Doom Live and recording mix

I swear my guitar rig is bassier and Lower in frequency than my bass rig. I've got an Orange OR120 running through a PPC412 and I usually boost the bass and high mids and Scoop the low mids with a 4 band hm2 clone. On my bass rig, I've got an Ampeg v4 running through an 8x10 I usually cut the bass and boost the low mids and treble and it seems to work out great. Is this an unusual mix for Doom? does anyone find this objectionable? I know its common for doom guitar tone to be bassy, but I also usually see bass rigs in doom bands that have 15s to go even lower, but I feel like the way I have my set up, I am leaving room for the kick drum to do the sub bass frequencies. Does this make sense? how should I go about recording with this set up?
