I like very much Intaglio. It's dark but not so depressive. Album has some kind of peaceably wisdom. Reminds me on Mournful Congregation and ,in some elements, Skepticism. High quality production ! Altought I don't understand russian and lyrics.

SP. 015-07 Majestic Downfall / Ansia - SplitCD

This Split CD introduces two brand new bands to all metal heads all over the world. Each one has it’s own sound and visions of modern doom metal.
Majestic Downfall (Mexico) is a one-man-band, which recaptures the feeling of the 90’s European Doom Metal scene, while mixing it with some more modern Doom Metal overtones.
Main idea of Ansia (Italy) is to find new sounds in the doom scene. Atmospheric music is interesting due to its specific sound. Ansia’s part of the Split has been mixed by Alessio Fagrelli (ex-session keyboards for Deinonychus), who also plays piano on the song “Part I”.

Have any bands (other than Aarni) already sent in their entries for the Thergothon tribute? Maybe you could start a thread here dedicated to the project's status...

Intaglio's production was killer on that release. Can crank it way up and it's nice and solid sounding. They doing another release any time soon? Reido's interesting too.

SP. 016-07 Heavy Lord (Hol) 2007 Chained To The World (Doom / Sludge) CD

Brand new (already third in a row) album by the Dutch riff masters of sludge/doom!
Contribution of The Void Studio (known from such bands as Celestial Season, Motorpsycho, etc.) where the album has been recorded, mixed and produced made it possible for the band to reach a new level, presenting the listeners amazing and heavy sound.
Compared to the previous record: From Cosmos to Chaos, the music became more brutal and destructive. Presence of mature musical skills, make the band one of the representatives of the genre.
Finally, CD edition comes with a poster by Interzone.
Vinyl edition is strictly limited to 500 copies.

SP. 017-08 Tears Of Mankind (Rus) 2008 Silent Veil Of My Doom (doom/death) CD

Second, brand new full length (besides the compilation of the early material) by Tears of Mankind became a huge surprise for those who are into this project. This is the first album which has been performed and recorded in doom/death metal style. Silent Veil Of My Doom is a complete opposite of what the band has done before and gets very close to the music of the pioneers in this genre: My Dying Bride ("The Light At The End Of The World era). English lyrics are full of loneliness and lost feelings. In a way this album is a sequel for the previous one: "To Solitude..."(connecting link is the acoustic song To Solitude... part 2").
This album demonstrates a noticeable sound improvement. Mastering of the album has been provided by Pavel Peristy, known from collaboration with the following bands: S.C.A.L.P., Intaglio, Revelations Of Rain, Endless Gloom.
Following the tradition there is a bonus track on the cd, a cover of Silent Hill.

SP. 018-08 Abstract Spirit (Rus) 2008 Liquid Dimensions Change (funeral doom) CD

This is a side project of a black metal band Twilight is Mine from the suburbs of Moscow. Several musicians have been heard in a well known Moscowian funeral doom band Comatose Vigil. Those guys - Stellarghost (keys) and Hater (bass/guitars) began this project. Present Comatose Vigil vocalist took the vocal duties together with the drums in this project.
The first full length album “Liquid Dimensions Change” brings you six tracks with the total length of 60 minutes. This is classic funeral – doom like it was meant to be. Thin of the bands as: Shape of Despair, Coliseum and of course the main band of the participating musicians – Comatose Vigil. At the same time the music is very versatile. You will find very sludgy and muddy parts combined with some beautiful melodies.

SP. 019-08 Frailty (Lat) 2008 Lost Lifeless Light (dark doom death) CD

Solitude Productions presents a debut album of the first Latvian doom/death band Frailty. "Lost Lifeless Lights" - rigid, bright and technical music in the vein of European doom death metal school (My Dying Bride, Anathema, Mourning Beloveth), with dark metal influences, which makes the band’s sound very original and fresh. All this makes Frailty one of the best bands of a Baltic heavy scene. The first 200 copies of the album contain Bonus DVD with performance at “Shadow Doom Fest” in "Shade" Club in Moscow.

Post subject:  Re:

The sites ( and others) have no mention of ways to order from Ukraine/CIS at all, so bad advice. Shame on you.

Fortunately, Post of Russia can deliver to Ukraine (though your site says nothing about that), so I was able to purchase stuff from you guys.

And it was almost ok. Almost.
I've ordered 12 CDs, one of which was Alkonost "Путь непройденный" ("indispensable path") [MR 025-06 -n] (order number 3201).
I've got my CDs, everything was ok, except for one - you've sent me Alkonost "Песни вечного древа" ("Songs of the Eternal Tree"), not the one I ordered.
It's not a big problem, I don't demand any returns or whatever, but please, please, be more accurate next time.

And please, put some info about ordering your stuff from CIS states other than Russia (like Ukraine for instance) to your website.
(I don't think adding few sentences to info page takes much effort or cost a lot of money or something like this, so why not just do it once, and don't waste time answering questions ever after).

Best regards.
