Another day of doing sweet f-all... :inlove:

Walk Through Fire - Vår Avgrund
Sludge / Funeral doom. Devastating stuff. Even better than the previous one. But if you want more aggression get the other one first.
https://walkthroughfire.bandcamp.com/album/v-r-avgrund

Рожь - Остов
Catafalque - s/t (industrial drone doom)
Autokrator - Hammer of the Heretics (death metal)

Tacit Annihilation - I
Raw and atmospheric death (doom) metal. There are screeching vocals that sound like the last tape in my previous car. I don't know what's scarier; the car or the vocals:
https://tacitannihilation.bandcamp.com/album/i

Imperceptum - Heart of Darkness
Atmospheric, space-themed black metal. Sounds like a drum machine. Very monotonous but has its charm:
https://imperceptum.bandcamp.com/album/ ... f-darkness

Gnaw their tongues - The atrocious silence
I listened to this band ages ago. Now, I don't even know where to start. His output is quite something. I picked that one at random. The last song is horrormovie soundtrack worthy.
https://gnawtheirtongues.bandcamp.com/a ... our-wounds

EDIT:

Weird how well this works. It's definitely doomy "synth metal" stuff by the guy from MBR:

Mahr - Antelux
Heavy atmospheric black metal. Just four longish tracks. Can get doomy.
https://mahr-pk.bandcamp.com/album/antelux

LEIDUNGR - Ansurblot
Ritual folk. Abstract and hypnotic. Just two tracks. Hardly any vocals. This is the best album I know so far. The other band on BC is one of those martial industrial bands with dodgy imagery and sound samples. :S

NYIÞ - ..svo enginn maður mig augum sjái
Icelandic dark jazz with an organ (?) and male vocals. Check out the drawn out second song. It feels like sitting in a bar at night listening to someone's doomed life story. His singing gets more intense later. A touching song which strongly suggests to get some alcohol involved.

This is cool and NYP. It's worth following this label on BC. The owner gives some elaborate recommendations every once in a while.

I keep listening to this epic 22' track by Descent into Despair. A wonderful journey, I hardly hear the same band.

Now I'll carefully listen to their previous one, Synaptic veil; I'm started to think I missed soemthing...

Full album can be streamed on the label's youtube:

There's also an unboxing video. :p

It's really fantastic! Too bad the shipping costs are so absurdly expensive!

Some epic doomy dark/post metal from NYC, with in-tune clean vocals, for once!

Good stuff!

This band just released a split with The Ruins of Beverast; two great bands -indeed very similar, soundwise, I guess it can't go completely wrong:

Gnawed - Subterranean Rites
You might like this, bapho. It's ambient / death industrial. The vocals are more in the background (so far).

https://malignantrecs.bandcamp.com/albu ... nean-rites

Monarch - Never forever
I listened to this at work and I could not get past the first song. So weird how Monarch turned out after "Dead Men". This is how female vocals in metal can be used to great effect. The last quarter of the first song is so epic.
:oddity:

Gregorio Franco - JUDGMENT
Synth metal. Surprisingly heavy. Unsurprisingly fun.

Not bad, a bit too tamed though, to restrained to really captivate

Nice album - Cadaverine would be my favourite song... But the whole is so despondent, hard to stand!

Very nice atmo stoner doom, I like the crooner-ish vocals particularly.

Did you check The Ruins of Beverast split with Mourning Beloveth? I was surprised how bland it was. First Mourning Beloveth material that I dislike...
