Great, the new Dwall. I was checking their bandcamp two weeks ago. Cheers!

Tortured and weird doom/sludge. The vocals make it stand out. The bass sounds like khanate and Plotkin mastered this so I guess it is one of his projects.

Venowl - Patterns of Failure

Post Re: To what listenest thou?

I gave a spin to two albums today, both released by Nulll: Undiscovered Moon of Saturn and Fall of the Grey_Winged One.

Both have distinct background statics that seem to be due to bad aging, rather than anything else because I always took good care of those cds.
Do anyone have the same problem? I once heard the same kind of constantly chugging noise on one other self-released cd, by a trad doom band (I mentioned this a few years ago in a specific thread).
I assume this is to be linked with a lack of quality of the physical support, although none of the cdr I burnt has ever shown such deterioration.
A shame, really, as I love that kind of ambient music, but they're fucked for good now!

I expect something like this to happen but I have no empirical base for that assumption as I usually don't take care of my CDRs at all. As far as I'm concered CDRs are "on the clock".

Are the albums you have here somewhere:
