Several weeks/months ago we discussed a nice new band that played cosmic themed drone/funeral doom similar to Arcane Voidsplitter. The album had 3 songs I think and it was some sort of supergroup/collaborative project. Anybody remembers the name? I lost my bandcamp link and now I cannot find it=( |

Yes, Astralsilence is exactly what I meant, though I'd been quite wrong about the drone part of it=))) And yes - the latest Qhwertt is really fascinating! The vocals annoy me quite a lot, but I'll have to get over them as the instrumental part is amazing, it even has this weird Twin Peaks feel at times. |

No, it's two separate bands now... they used to be one, but the two members had an argument and split up... or kicked each other out of the band... so, now they are carrying on on their own with the band having the same name... clear?

Unfortunately after their debut album "Litourgiya" they splitted into two bands with the same name and still not settled in court who has the rights to the band name... Therefore there is a kind of schizophrenic situation... https://www.metal-archives.com/search?s ... =band_name |

Find it boring to be honest. Now: Sweet Ermengarde. I like this album very much!! Earlier, it was Mistress of the Dead/ henriette's message from the other shore. I doesn't click with me. More of a background music perhaps. |

Silence In The Snow - Levitation Chamber. Out now on Prophecy Prod. One of the best post-punk releases I have ever heard. Dark and ethereal and so authentic. Kind like a Siouxsie and the Banshees worship band ("Israel"-era) with that authentic old school obscure sound, but I think Silence In The Snow are better, deeper and more interesting. |
