Re: To what listenest thou?
Relistening to Frailty's last year album; Ok, it's pedestrian, but it's nicely entertaining, with some good riffs, nice melodies, nice dark and mean overall tone. The vocal delivering surprisingly sounds awkward on some parts, quite grating. Now, you've heard this 200 times before and that's the major flaw...

Re: To what listenest thou?
Altars of Grief is at a standstill; but happly for us who liked this band - their sophomore is a tremendous album of melo death doom, two members have launched a new very similar project:
Finally got my vinyl copy of the Begräbnis' Izanaena - so it's mostly that=)
I've been also streaming that Chief Whip album that baphomet recommended - the more I listen to it the more I like it and the more the annoying parts become more obvious and irritating...

Re: To what listenest thou?
The Mountain King keep releasing interesting albums that present themselves as long drawn-out musical explorations, A bit of doom, lots of drones and some electro bits even - till the latest one that is a sort of 90 minute-long dark and slow indie post-rock try.
It's quality stuff, but rather hard to pinpoint, it's subdued, nothing spectacular, and it shows a sense of anxiety that I like.
