Yes, much better, although the style is a bit different, IMO, less djent... I was only pointing it out because those 2 bands couldn't be more different and his clean singing style is quite surprising after all the grunting in the other band...

I did not enjoy this too much but I'm listening to their previous album and it seems quite excellent. I'd be interested in the full release though on the basis of their debut=)

Opening today's playlist and greeting the sun with I Drowned in a Stream of Mourn. Great band, too bad there're not more like them.

Yes, they are a wonderful weird band, I still listen to the two demos, slightly preferring the debut. The innocence in the music is amazing, and not due to their age, but due to the specific period when it was created...

Ha, is it a response to my previous post? What's that band anyway?

All the atmo ornament, muffled raspy voices, bongo, piano, trompet (or sax), flute, is genius. The riff are far more common, but on the whole, their offered an original take on FD that I hardly can compare with anything else.

When I heard this album for the first time I had a real thrills running on my backbone. Since then I fell in love with this band I appreciate all the other stuff.
I skipped to this Italian one-man band. True to the Italian baroque way to tackle doom. URNA totally come to mind: it's the same Intricate, demented and bizarre soundscapes: https://i-voidhangerrecords.bandcamp.co ... ing-myself

Both seem like very nice releases, with wonderful non-typical atmosphere and twists, pity there is so little doom =/

The second is doomier than the first, it is very good and free on top of it!
