When A Shadow Is Forced Into The Light/ STS

this band has already left his mark on the doom metal history. It's very well done, very enjoyable, lacks tension, lacks darkness and a real personal bite. But I don't care as long as the songwriting is as good.

yes... a bit of the departure, but very nice post-post-post-post-metal...

Going through their discography....

The Foreshadowing - Oionos

which I always read "Onions"... :D but it's a fab album, probably their best.

Ophis first single from their upcoming album Spew Forth Odium

Their previous one was one of the best in their discography, this first single is not convincing enough as a worthy follow-up, but I'm excited to hear the whole thing. That is not to say that the song is not top-notch like almost everything they do=)

new Hangman Chair. Always sharpening their post-goth sides, all for the best. This new song is really good:

Type O Negative's Dead Again. It's October, so I tend to go through their whole discography then.

I watched Der Himmel über Berlin yesterday, and found out about Crime And The City Solution which are part of the excellent evocative soundtrack of this beautiful film...

Fvnerals are so good, I eagerly await their new album, plus Darkher's new, the rest of my favourite bleak chicks all succumbed to happiness...

Der Himmel über Berlin is amazing and the song scene in particular!

on topic - Mourning Lenore's Loosely Bounded Infinities turned up as a suggestion in youtube or somewhere - not bad in fact=)

The way Wenders describes so softly, finely, the sentimental relation between the angel and Marion are very touching indeed. In the song scene you mention, there's a moment where Ganz and Marion are close to each other, you do see an angel passing by.

Reido/ Anatman

Post Re: To what listenest thou?

Listened to the latest two The Body releases - "I've Seen All I Need To See" and "Leaving None But Small Birds" - the only notable aspect is how starkly different they are - the first is a very raw and noisy affair, almost dronish, the second, a collab with Big Brave, is the complete opposite - folk and female vocals.

First track from the new Pantheist album - apart from the fact that this album will bear probably the worst cover art in history, "Wilderness" is actually rather pleasant. I wished it was heavier and it has its cheesy moments (especially in the lyrics, don't read them if you want to have a chance at enjoying the song=) but is really nice overall.

And for a good taste I've been spinning the two classic ...In The Woods albums and Hyponic's masterpiece=)

Are you talking about the Steve Hackett's cover?
