I was checking my latest posts and read this one with surprise as I love the latest album by Funeris. But the guy managed to put out TWO albums this year! The one of February is the one I was talking about here. The one released in December is much stronger. Take note. :)

The first track off the up-coming Ruins of Beverast album. I like the obvious doom bend the band has taken a couple of albums ago.

The new Pain of Savation is high in lots of best of lists.. It's good indeed. Happy to rediscover this band with such an exciting album!

I see we posted an interview of them. It's some perfectly fine magestic FD, with occasional death-ish vibes, very much like Indesinence and the likes.

In fact me neither. I think the first couple of songs are entertainting, then it becomes quite shallow and the electro effects are used with no real relevance.

Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, but maybe I was expecting even more progression after their previous album, but then that one was half written with Ragnar Zolberg...
