This is from his website...

My Symbol Sól EP for Limited Sale
Posted on August 19, 2017 | Leave a comment
As I am in the midst of making 2 separate albums, I end up recording far more songs that will end up on the albums themselves.

So I decided to release a very limited edition single/ep.

This has been on my mind for quite some time now and since a lot of people have been asking me about “My Symbol Sól” on CD….

Sooooo I have collected a couple of B-Side songs (6 to be exact, that have not been released before or will never be released again) to go along with “My Symbol Sól” for a very special, handmade, limited to 22 copies, EP.

I know that B-sides can be a tricky thing, therefor I have listened through about 50 B-side songs from the past 3 years and handpicked my favourite 6 for this release.

This EP will not be available online… neither will any of the selected b-side songs ever be! It is only to be made at my home, by my hand and in 22 copies only.
22 is my favourite number and as I’ve been drawing the front covers myself, my pen has run out of ink now after 22 drawings….. if that’s not a sign I don’t know what is.

Sales open up on monday morning @ https://ragnarzolbergstore.ecwid.com
and the cd’s are going for 25 $ a piece.

With Love and Gratitude
Ragnar Zolberg

-----------------------------------------------------------

Only 22 copies and $25.00 each... :D

Or you can buy just the song in digital form from here...

https://store.cdbaby.com/cd/ragnarzolberg2

BTW, he is the Icelandic guy who got sacked by Pain of Salvation.... well, by the egomaniac singer... :)

And what about the other songs on that Ep... Are they listenable somewhere?

I guess since August, the 22 copies must be sold out... Not tat I'd have paid that amount, but it's definitely a nice song that you'd want to keep coming to.

I have no idea... I don't have the EP and just discovered this song... although I really like the song, I'm not paying $25.00 for that and some B sides... :D Maybe he will include it in his next LP...

ok, thx!

Listening to Autumnia/ Of Candles Obsequial.

And just before, trying to understand the hype about the new Bell Witch... It's a letdown compared to the previous one, imo.

I think that the universal praise Mirror Reaper gets is ridiculous. Yes, it's always unoffending and pleasant and everything on this album sounds so good on paper - the structure of the album with it's two halves mirroring each other, the tragedy surrounding the album, the idea behind this - but when you listen to it it has no substance, only a third of it is actually enjoyable music (which sounds pretty much the same), all the rest is ridiculous amount of filler.

Aura Hiemis/ Five
I love these dark monotonous chants! They convey a kind of faded glory that has some real dignity. For once, this project doesn't sound like anything else.

Benediction - Transcend the Rubicon, great old school Birmingham DM!

Down - Nola, haven't heard it in years. Some strong songs, some weak one's.
