Post here!

My first is the Drudkh/Winterfylleth split...

Thousands of Moons Ago/The Gates', the 12" split record with WINTERFYLLETH sees DRUDKH paying homage to the Eastern European underground. DRUDKH deliver a raw set of covers taken from HEFEYSTOS, UNCLEAN, and SACRILEGIUM. WINTERFYLLETH in turn, honor DRUDKH mastermind Roman Sayenko by offering their take on the HATE FOREST epic, "The Gates".

Aren't Hate Forest an NSBM band?

Yes they are. Called after this very particular forest in Belarus that really really hates Jews and blacks and Gypsies... :-))

anyhow, that split isn't very interesting! :P

Hate Forest is a very good band. I'm not aware of the exact content of their ideological position (they an be seen as nationalists/traditionalists, that's sure), but musically, it's very solid harsh, cold BM - and very unique too.

I have the new Septic Flesh but I haven't listened to it yet. I've loved the last 2 albums immensely, so i'm really looking forward to it, I just haven't had the proper free time.

Whoever likes latest Septicflesh releases should probably also enjoy latest Mechina albums (Empyrean, Xenon).

Another interesting thing - new album by a band called Archspire, "The Lucid Collective". I haven't heard them before, but now I'm definitely a fan.
I didn't like it all that much at first, but somehow the more I listen to it the more I like it. It's going on like that for more than a week now.

Not Metal, but I don't feel like opening another thread...

So, this is dark indus music, ritualist and haunting: http://bestialmouths.bandcamp.com/album/bestial-mouths
Im sure there're people out here who like that kind of stuff, although it's not very popular in these pages.

Solace Of Requiem - Casting Ruin. the best tech death metal I've heard for a long, long time...

Trube - Zone of alienation, bleak and astral black metal / dark ambient of the highest order dealing with the Chernobyl disaster. Insanely beautiful and dark. They have a bandcamp site as well. Listen!

I don't want to push you around or anything, but if you could give a link when you recommend something, that'd be nice and more practical! :;):

I went check out that stuff, Trübe, and I second you, this is pretty excellent. Here's the link:

Now, I'd like to know where I can order it...

Dusktone records.

Besides, not all bands have a decent, accessible, streaming website, like bandcamp which is my personal favourite. A simple, no hassle, streaming tool with good quality.

another excellent album by a rather unknown band:
Souldrainer - Architect. Some of the best melodic death metal tunes I've listened to in quite some time. Total Hypocrisy circa 1994-1997 era worship with gigantic keyboards and choirs...
Check it out here:

That label has a bandcamp too; seems to be some worthwile BM on their catalogue. Will investigate further.
