 You want it crushing?
(Note: I renamed the title of this thread to fit to a broader perspective) LÖBOLöbo crafts instrumental music, desolate doom, crawling atmospheres enriched with a psychedelic progressive feeling, always moving, always digging new ideas. That's a fantastic journey you're gonna make if you click there: http://www.myspace.com/lobodoomoh yeah, did I tell you it was CRUSHING?

I like it...very droney and spacey, but with a good groove that stops it from feeling overly repetitive. Promising work.
Is this band purely instrumental? What are the vocals like?

there are no vocals. it's far to be repetitive indeed. Damn, that's a first album! There's so much maturity, it's amazing!

Pretty impressive stuff actually. Both synths and background leads combined with the heavy rhythm guitars make it all sound very full.
The uptempo parts work out great as well. This stuff rocks.

At 4’55 of ‘aqui em baixo...’, I love that screeching sound! And the way the music get higher in tone afterwards, the intensity that is built up... that’s really great!

Really great find, i've had this myspace page playing on a loop for the past 3 hours. Always appreciated experimental work, from Elend to Radiohead or classical even. It works really well, especially when it sounds as crushing as this does.

seems not. I wonder if it would be even better with vocals...
Maybe it would ruin it all. I wouldn't mind some vocal parts though...

If they were to introduce vocals, then keep them at a minimum. Vocals, particularly in some outfits, aren't as necessary or over used and should always be secondary to the music. If not just an extension of the music itself.

true, but I can help thinking it gives music an extra 'human feeling' I like. Words are not that important, just the voice. Which is another instrument.
