French female-fronted Stoner Doom. Nothing special, but it's slow and mournful, which is good per se. And it's free... https://deathbelldoom.bandcamp.com/albu ... the-beyond

English Dope Smoker's discography is offered for free. it's strip-down to the basics: fuzz, fat riffs, drone, reverb, and some interesting ethereal juvenile vocals. It's rather addictive. https://dopesmoker.bandcamp.com/

Ultra bleak, amateurish bedroom FD; still, its sobriety makes it bearable: https://geodaehan.bandcamp.com/album/demo-i-mmxvAnd this good news: Altars of Grief's Iris, this excellent death doom album, is now offered for free by Hyponic Dirge, as it is their habit with the digital versions of their releases: https://hypnoticdirgerecords.bandcamp.com/album/iris

 Re: Free Downloadable Doom Albums
I have this on tape, initially I was quite fond of it, but after the second demo they recently released I'm beginning to doubt if the band has any merit at all...

 Re: Free Downloadable Doom Albums
What do mean exactly? That both demos sound very much alike?

Maybe he has realised they are not that good after all?

 Re: Free Downloadable Doom Albums
I'm not exactly sure. Maybe that the second demo confirmed my lingering suspicion that the first one does not really deserve my excitement, call it sobering if you like=)

 Re: Free Downloadable Doom Albums
I totally know what you mean, I've fallen out with several bands in this way. Sometimes I feel on a fresh debut you feel the band, but also feel their potential, and that is what excites you. Then they progress further and all the potential is wasted in some way. Of course, sometimes it goes the other way - those are always special moments.

Doom/Heavy Psychedelic act Gorazde has all of its albums (five plus one EP) available for free download at: http://www.gorazde.bandcamp.comEarly material (2010-2011) has a dark blues/doom rock kind of feel, later releases get heavier and moodier... 2016: https://gorazde.bandcamp.com/album/the-catechism2018: https://gorazde.bandcamp.com/album/our-sleeping-skinHope some find interest in this...

 Re: Free Downloadable Doom Albums
Speaking of vintage female-fronted doomy hard rock, Here's Moon Coven, coming from the same manufacturing plant than the billion of other projects shaped from the exact same recipe. They do manage to sound good now and then, when they're not downright insipid. https://mooncoven.bandcamp.com/album/moon-coven-3

 Re: Free Downloadable Doom Albums
It's true that I'm somehow not really convinced by Moon Coven.. Maybe I missed the good bits?
Deathbell, however, sounds already much better.

 Re: Free Downloadable Doom Albums
I know this is from two years ago, but listening back to Ghost Witch, it is very clear that the vocals are male. It's definitely influenced by Windhand, though. The first track is pretty much a direct tribute to the opening song of Windhand's Soma album. I do get a bit of an Alcest/Have a Nice Life vibe from the vocals and depressive atmosphere. Deathbell are one of the better bands to do occult doom with female vocals, they are a lot more funereal and depressive than the bands they are typically compared to (Windhand, Haunted, Hela, etc).

https://doomedandstoned.bandcamp.com/A bandcamp page that compiles a series of Doom bands by country: France, Germany, South Africa, Sweden etc...; it's definitely worth a check! (

 Re: Free Downloadable Doom Albums
It's not pure doom, but this is a quite nice doomy instrumental album, that is not only free, but paying is discouraged ("Do not pay a cent for this album. This is my (Enohx) gift to the world.")
