Impressive work, the guy has high technical skills. That kind of photographic painting is all about technique, but he still manages to let show a personal style. He's very much of his time, there's a touch of advertisement and Hollywood in his paintings. But it lacks a bit of emotion, imo; it's all a bit too cold and superficial.

What is the story behind Kauan's rather...obscure...choice to record their albums in Finnish? Stunning stuff (some major Tenhi worship, perhaps), but their town is well over 1,000 miles away from Finland. I thought maybe they were located in the formerly Finish now Russian part of Karelia annexed last century, but no!

As far as a recall some interviews, he picked finish because he loved the language and because it is spoken only by a limited number of people in the world and he wanted listeners to focus more on the music than on the words. But for one, he didn't know the language before starting work on the debut and so most of the lyrics there are pretty nonsensical as he even picked up random words from the dictionary=)

Not overwhelming but I kinda like the atmosphere. Their last demo seems to be less interesting though.
