Post New Generation of Doom Fuzz Pedals

I mean wow! There's a bit of a revolution going on out there. It's like a flood of new Doom, Stoner Fuzz pedals that imitate band sounds rather than just the Fuzz. They seem to be developed by young electronic engineers like modern day Mat Mathias's

Here's the new Earthquaker Devices & Sunn O))) collaboration, the Life Pedal V2. It features circuits from the Rat White Face distortion pedal, an octive circuit from the Shin-ei distortion pedal and their own boost circuit. They do a big box version to look impressive and a smaller practical pedalboard version. If you open the big version you'll find it's mostly empty space.

I have both the Griffin pedal and the fuzz and burn by minotaur sonic terrors and I love them both. The Griff is such a wicked boost. I can get real heavy tones but it really shines when you're going full pentagram (obvious) and it works really well in rock, blues and improvisation settings. It's awesome .

The fuzz and burn is like electric wizard in a box. This thing really pushes out the heavy but I don't think it's a varied pedal but damn if you just want one piece of gear to start playing heavy as fuck music its amazing. I really don't like what it does to leads but rhythmically is awesome .

Been meaning to try the swamp lord but I may be grabbing a savage drive from airis effects just for a change of pace....
