Quick introductory interview.

Interview with Talsur.
1. Who are you and how did the band get started?

Talsur – is the one man band from Russia formed in October 2015. One man records all instruments and vocals. That’s the most important thing in this project. Loneliness. It serves as a kind of fuel, an integral part of Talsur. It makes music just as sad as it should be. Therefore, it was decided not to take other people into the group and not give concerts.

2. Why did you choose Doom, and how would you describe your style?

Doom metal saved me from suicide. It helped me, and I realized that this is my favorite music. And I'm sure that I'm not the only one. I decided to contribute, and also help people with my music. Sharing my sorrow, I share someone's pain, and these thoughts make me feel better.

3. What would you consider to be the high point of your career so far?

Certainly my fourth album Slough of Despond. It sounds exactly as I intended it. He also became the most qualitative of all that I did, and it made a good impression on the public. I'm really proud of this album.

4. Which three bands most influenced you?

This list is eternal: My Dying Bride, Type O Negative, Draconian. But in fact, there are many more such groups.

5. What are your plans for the near future?

Plans are always the same – to make music. I recently released a new EP, now I'm working on a single. Also planned a split with one interesting ambient project.

6. If there is anything you would like to add, the last words are yours.

I want to wish good to doom metal fans all over the world. Listen to music, love each other and of course, stay doom.
