Quick introductory interview.

Interview with Godsnake.
Editor's note: This interview was submitted before the band changed its name to Godsnake in mid-2017.

1. Who are you and how did the band get started?

My name is Mike Juehring. I'm the guitarist/vocalist for the band Wizard Bloody Wizard. We got together and started jamming on some Sabbath tunes. Eventually started coming up with our own ideas.

2. Why did you choose Doom, and how would you describe your style?

I was into bands like Sabbath, Electric Wizard, Sleep, Windhand. I loved the dark, doomy, fuzz tones. I would say that our style is a mixture of all those bands.

3. What would you consider to be the high point of your career so far?

It would be putting together our self titled EP and hearing all the positive feedback at shows and online from all who have heard the tracks.

4. Which three bands most influenced you?

Thatís a tough one to answer. Ive been influenced by so many bands. I would probably have to go with AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, and Black Sabbath

5. What are your plans for the near future?

We hope to keep writing good material, hopefully get a record deal so we can try and get our music out to as many people as possible.

6. If there is anything you would like to add, the last words are yours.

I hope that people come check us out and continue to support us.
