Quick introductory interview.

Interview with Gossamer Veil.

1. Who are you and how did the band get started?

Sam Emm, Elliott Wright and contributing musicians. After years of not quite fitting into bands we met online and found we liked all the same bands. We wanted to make music that we'd listen to.

2. Why did you choose Doom, and how would you describe your style?

Doom is our favourite genre. It allows you to go to the darkest part of yourself and humanity. We blend the gothic, prog, black metal and alternative styles for a unique doom experience.

3. What would you consider to be the high point of your career so far?

The response to the My Messiah music video has been incredible. Over a thousand views on Youtube and a bit of press attention.

4. Which three bands most influenced you?

My Dying Bride, Black Sabbath, Paradise Lost.

5. What are your plans for the near future?

We've done two EP's. We are in talks with a couple of independent labels about our debut album so we're 'cutting the fat' from our writing to make sure every track is perfect.

6. If there is anything you would like to add, the last words are yours.

“Stripping back the thin veil between ourselves...and ourselves” From Mayday-Gossamer Veil.
