If you engage in any of above mentioned activities a #doom-metal operator has the right to remove your access to the channel for any period of time he or she deems appropriate (incl. indefinite). #Doom-metal operators can generally be recognised by a "@" before their name but do not need to make their presence known.

Mailinglist

The following points summarise actions which will incur ejection from Doom-metal.com's mailinglist:

Harassment or libellous statements towards other users.
Posting of obscene, racist or sexist materials.
Unauthorised copying of copyrighted material, including the violation of software licence agreements.
Use of computer telecommunication facilities to impede or disrupt the computing activities of others.
Use of mailinglist facilities for personal financial gain.

All material posted (both public and private messages) on any of the above mentioned services (forum, chatchannel or mailinglist) can be used by Doom-metal.com as the management of this website sees fit, taking into account any legal copyrights. If requered we can and will turn over material to the authories.

Doom-metal.com Radio

Doom-metal.com's live stream radio station uses copyrighted material without express written permission. However, if this raises any questions or concerns with the owner, it should be noted that Doom-metal.com's management has implemented certain precautions in an attempt to protect the copyright:

The music used is in streamed mp3 format and cannot be downloaded or saved.
The songs played are unannounced.
The quality of the track encoding is low.
No more than two songs by the same artist/s are deliberately played consecutively.

Audio Samples

Doom-metal.com uses copyrighted audio samples on its bandlist without express written permission from the copyright holder. If this raises any questions of concerns, it should be noted that Doom-metal.com's management has implemented certain precautions in an attempt to protect the copyright:

The quality of the track encoding is really low
Samples are streamed in Real Audio format
Nomore then one track of one artist.
Tracks will, without questions, be removed upon request.

In either of the above cases (Radio and Samples), if a concerned party with a direct interest contacts the site administration with valid concerns over music played, the music in question may be removed. However, it should be noted that the music used by Doom-metal.com is used for promotional purposes only.

Submitting material for review

Doom-metal.com and its reviewers are not legally bound to or under any other obligations to review submitted music without given reason.

All material sent to doom-metal.com or any of its review staff becomes property of doom-metal.com upon receipt and will be returned only if agreement to do so has been made beforehand.

The function of reviewers is to give their personal opinion of the reviewed material; that is to say, doom-metal.com cannot be held responsible for its reviewers subjective opinions. Requests for review alterations, or requests for review removals will not be acknowledged.
