Queen Elephantine

USA - Active.

Description

Stoner/Doom

Originally from Hong Kong, now based in Rhode Island USA, Queen Elephantine is a floating assortment of musicians featuring, in its latest incarnation, two drummers. The music is improvisational in nature, based around a core of heavy Psychedelic/Stoner exploration. A certain amount of American Stoner (Sleep and others) influence is present, mixed in with a jamming Krautrock feel, but arguably the band is unique in its scope and nature.
